KAINOS: online

The reality of our situation is that there are far too many Korean SDA churches in North America without English-Ministry pastors or lay leaders. These churches have no programming or worship services for English speaking young people and as a result, many of them leave the church.

KAINOS:online exists to address this issue.

KAINOS:online contains two distant elements: region-specific online worship and in-person fellowship and community.

KAINOS:online is divided into geographic regions. Each region will have their own online worship experience created specifically for them. The worship experience will take into consideration the worship culture and style of that region, as well as pertinent issues and challenges that the congregation may face. These worship videos will be released weekly. Church members can gather in-person at their churches to watch the online videos or they can watch them at home.

Online livestream worships already exists, and any church without a Pastor or leader can simply watch another church’s livestream for worship. But what about community and fellowship? One of the most crucial and important aspects of church is the community and fellowship that we experience together.

The second element of KAINOS:online is to create in-person fellowship and community. There will be a region leader who will coordinate with the churches involved and plan in-person events. The frequency of the in-person events will differ by region but the in-person experience is a vital and important aspect of KAINOS:online.

Currently there are 2 active regions: Southern California and Bay Area (Northern California).
