about us
Empowering each generation of leaders through catalyzing collaboration and transformative changes in the Korean American Adventist Churches
Who we are
history
The Kainos Project began with a dream: if money and resources were not an issue, how could we transform Korean American Ministries?
With that dream in mind, the initial team got together and began to outline specific ways that we could assist churches and ministries.
In December of 2023 in San Diego, California, the initial team officially created the Kainos Project. Over the course of 2 days they brainstormed ideas, discussed key issues facing Korean American Ministries, and prayed for God’s guidance in this new venture.
In 2024, the first four projects of Kainos were established and contact was made with various churches and lay leaders to announce the beginning of the Kainos Project
Mission
The mission is simple. We want to help usher in the next level of ministry in the Korean American Church. As we progress into the future, our ministries will have to adapt and adjust to this cultural moment. Kainos aims to help churches elevate to the next level to share the Gospel message in an effective and relevant way
Vision
The foundational principle of Kainos Project is networking. Whether its pastors networking with each other or lay leaders connecting across the country, we believe relationships and networks are key to healthy and successful ministry.
Kainos Project is actively collaborating and working in partnership with West Coast Korean Camp Meeting, the North American Division, South Eastern California Conference, the English Ministry Pastor Advisory Council, the Youth Ministry Advisory Council, and the Korean Church Association.
As Kainos Project grows, we anticipate we will work with more ministries, departments, and Conference to help enhance ministry in North America
