KAINOS
PROJECT
EMPOWERING EACH GENERATION OF LEADERS THROUGH CATALYZING COLLABORATION AND TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGES IN THE KOREAN AMERICAN ADVENTIST CHURCHES
who we are
-
kainos
In Greek, Kainos means 'new in kind and in contrast to what previously existed, so taking the place thereof'.
The Kainos Project is exactly that; we exist to provide new methods and approaches to the Korean American Ministry so that we can all be Gods Kingdom builders and difference makers.
The Kainos Project does not seek to replace Korean American Ministries, but rather to help your churches by providing essential resources and support to turn your God given visions and dreams into reality.
We offer a number of resources and programs that we believe will help enhance your church and ministry, whether you are a pastor or lay leader.
Our Services
-
mentorship
Often in ministry it feels like we're on an island. It creates and atmosphere of isolation and loneliness. One of the main goals of Kainos is to provide a network of relationships between pastors serving in Korean American English speaking ministries. Click to learn more.
-
Sahmyook Project
In the summer of 2024, Kainos and the Sahmyook School of Theology partnered to offer a special track for students interested in pursuing ministry in a Korean-American context. To learn more about how your church can be involved or if you would like more information on the track, click below.

Lay Ministry Training
One thing that is abundantly clear is that no church can succeed without lay leaders. Often times the burden of leading a church falls on our lay leaders who have not received formal training.
Kainos offers mentorship, resources, and training for lay leaders. If you are a lay leader interested in these services, click below
